Lugn — Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Lugn mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Install and use the App on your personal device(s)
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
• Copy or reproduce the App except as allowed by these Terms
• Distribute or transfer the App to others
• Use the App for any illegal purpose

User Accounts

Account Creation

Account creation is optional. You can use the core features of the App without signing in. Optional Google Sign-In is available for cloud backup and sync.

Account Responsibility

If you choose to sign in, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activities that occur under your account

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. This requires re-authentication with Google, a final confirmation, and cannot be undone. Upon deletion, your Firebase account, all cloud-stored loops, and your complete history are permanently removed.

App Features

Core Features (Free)

The App allows you to:

• Track unfinished commitments ("loops") across life domains
• Mark loops as finished or intentionally let go
• View your active loop count with zone indicators
• Complete a guided onboarding to externalize your commitments

Premium Features (One-Time Purchase)

Premium unlocks additional features, which currently include:

• Insights and statistics about your loop history
• Focus loop pinning
• Loop limit enforcement

Your one-time purchase also includes access to future premium feature updates made available as part of the app, subject to modification, replacement, or discontinuation at our discretion.

Payment

One-Time Purchase

Premium is a one-time purchase processed through Google Play Billing. There is no subscription and no recurring charges.

Purchase Verification

Premium purchases are verified through Google Play to prevent fraud. Your purchase is tied to your Google Play account, not to an app-level account.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled through Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create using the App, including all loops and associated data.

License to Content

You grant us permission to store and process your content solely to provide the App's services, including cloud backup and sync when you choose to sign in.

No Advertising

Lugn does not display advertisements at any tier, free or premium.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will always function without interruption or errors
• Errors will be corrected
• Data stored locally will survive device failure or app reinstallation

Limitation of Liability

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• Your use of the App
• Any interruption in service
• Loss of data

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
